Round steel is classified as hot rolled, forged and cold drawn. Hot rolled round steel is 5.5-250 mm in size. Classified by chemical composition
Carbon steel can be divided into low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and high carbon steel according to its chemical composition (i.e. carbon content).
The difference between round steel and other steel bars
1. The appearance is not the same, the round steel appearance is round, no lines and no ribs, the surface appearance of other steel bars is engraved or ribbed, so that the adhesion of round steel and concrete is small, and the adhesion of other steel bars and concrete is large.
2. The composition is not the same, round steel (first grade steel) belongs to ordinary mild steel, other steel bars are alloy steel.
3. The strength is not the same, the strength of round steel is low, the strength of other steel is high, that is, the diameter of the same round steel compared with other steel bars, round steel can withstand the tension is smaller than other steel bars, but the plasticity of the round steel is stronger than other steel bars, that is, the round steel has a larger deformation before being pulled off, and the deformation of other steel bars is much smaller before being pulled off.
